I wanted to thank you: for your inspiring presentation last night. I had tears in my eyes during most of it and I wanted to give you a hug afterward, but I was afraid I'd start bawling. I'm here to promote the company I just joined as a book designer. Graphic design is my love but the thing that keeps me up at night is saving homeless pets. There is an organization called Best Friends Pet Sanctuary in Kanaab, UT that I've always dreamed about emulating but I was always of the mindset that I was just one person and hadn't a clue about starting, let alone funding a project like that. And from the Men in their coaching work: Kimber, Amir, and the Transformational Business team started by helping to define and clarify my vision. This was a discussion of my impact on the world and the legacy I desire to leave when that time comes... Then we began to track and measuring our intentions for the week. This exercise made me accountable for my own actions. It helped me to see opportunities around me to shortcut connections with people that I need to fulfill my vision.
Every week I realize that I'm slacking in the way I'm showing up to the game. This is not a bad thing, but I'm growing up quickly with the understanding that I will be stewarding other people's money and impacting other people's lives. This can be a sobering realization... That is because each consultant expands my thinking in ways that truly helps me get the business building work done. When I measure my intentions at the end of each week, I know immediately whether I've played at a level 10 for the previous week.
By the end of business school at the Sloan School of Management at MIT, I still really didn't understand how to construct a board of directors, board of advisors, and my operational structure. Within two weeks, I am functionally capable of thinking through my organizational charts and setting titles at the appropriate levels of pay. I don't worry anymore about whether I have a particular skill. My role is a business designer and I will enroll people who have the talents and insights to get the job done.

Okay this was an outrageous promise to deliver upon. You challenged me to dream big and not know how to do it. I said great I'll have a $billion dollar project awarded to me in 5 years. I was so fixated all of my life on having more more more and really earning by the time I was 32 about $300K or more as ceo of large company and then moving to head of sales for fortune 100 company.
